Our thoughts go out to those affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus. As more and more cases are reported, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our customers is our top priority and to share what we are doing as a company to protect you.
We are a true handmade shop (everything is made by hand, nothing by machine), and we have always taken, and will continue to exercise, precautionary measures to ensure our customers are kept safe. These include:
Social Distancing - We have cancelled all vendor/craft shows until further notice. As much as we love IJWDC, we believe that the health of our customers is of utmost importance! Alternatively, we offer a “touch free”, “exposure free” experience via our online shopping portal where customers can safely browse and order our entire line of IJWDC products.
Handwashing - We frequently wash our hands before, during, and after making, packaging, and shipping our products.
Sanitizing - We frequently disinfect “high touch” surfaces (countertops, tables, etc.) everyday.
Gloves - We use heavy gloves when sewing, working with hot glue guns, and making soap, candles, and other products. The gloves help keep our customers safe and they protect our hands from our lovely smells and print marks.
Hand Sanitizer - IJWDC always has a few 34 fluid oz. bottles around the studio to keep our hands clean.
Practicing Healthy Habits - IJWDC loves eating foods that are known to boost the immune system with high ph levels like oranges, apples, and pineapples. For supplements, we love vitamins C, elderberry, sea moss, black seed oil, garlic and echinacea that help boost immunity.
