Ingredients

Pumpkin Vanilla Infused Vodka

1 cup cooked and pureed pumpkin (100% pure canned pumpkin may be substituted [not pumpkin pie mix]!)

1 tsp of pumpkin spice

750 ml bottle of French Vanilla vodka (We love the brand Ciroc!)

Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

2 parts water

1 part brown sugar

From Drunken Pumpkin

1 shot of Pumpkin Harvest Creme

1 shot of bourbon

Whipped cream

Instructions

Part 1: Make the pumpkin infused French vanilla vodka

Add pumpkin and pumpkin spice to a quart-size jar with lid.

Pour the French Vanilla vodka into the jar.

Put the lid on and shake vigorously to mix the ingredients.

Place the mason jar in the refrigerator and shake the jar once a day.

Let the vodka infuse for two days and then taste it. If it tastes good, follow the rest of the directions. If not, let it infuse, checking each day. We let ours go for four days.

To strain the pumpkin vodka, pour it through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Gently squeeze the mixture to get all the vodka out of the pumpkin.

Discard the pumpkin and reserve the infused pumpkin vanilla vodka.

Part 2: Make the Brown Sugar Simple Syrup

First, heat water in a saucepan, but avoid boiling.

Mix in brown sugar and continue to heat until all sugar is dissolved.

Once dissolved, remove from heat and let cool. Store excess simple syrup in the refrigerator and in a sealable container.

Part 3: Make the Drunken Pumpkin Cocktail

Add all the Drunken Pumpkin ingredients (see above) to a mixing glass and fill with ice.

Top with whipped cream

Enjoy (Responsibly!)
